Unlike regular gold plating, Veresoni uses a ≥2.5-micron thick layer of gold (5 times thicker) on sterling silver, ensuring outstanding durability, water resistance and meets US and EU standards. Made from Sterling Silver, this is a blend of 92.5% real silver and 7.5% other metals to add strength. We've coated it with Rhodium for that extra shine and to help it resist scratches. Since pure silver is too soft for jewelry on its own, this mix ensures it's both attractive and long-lasting. If your jewelry piece has a '925' or 'S925' mark on it, it indicates it's genuine sterling silver.
